Attractions

  • Bendigo Art Gallery, Outstanding permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.

  • Golden Dragon Museum, Considered to contain the world's best collection of Chinese processional regalia and the world's longest Imperial Dragons; Sun Loong and Loong.

  • Bendigo Pottery Tourism Complex, Walk through some of the historic bottle and rectangular kilns and marvel at the glaze lining the walls from 100 years of salt glaze firings.

  • Bendigo Vintage Talking Trams, Take a ride on an old tram and learn all about Bendigo.

  • Central Deborah Gold Mine, Don your hard hat and experience the activity of a real gold mine. You can travel 61 metres underground on a fully guided tour and see early mining equipment, buildings and machinery on the surface displays.

  • Discovery Science and Technology Centre, See hundreds of exciting and intriguing hands-on exhibits of interest to all ages. Admission covers a whole day at the complex and the store has a variety of scientific games, novelties, books and gifts.

  • Wings and Things, Come see the Tropical Butterfly House featuring hundreds of free flying Butterflies. Walk amongst many beautiful coloured Parrots and take the opportunity to meet the many species of reptiles.

Activities

  • Ironbark Riding centre, Ironbark has a large range of horses, from Sally the old faithful who is great for kids and beginners to Max which will keep the experienced riders on there toes. Ironbark is fully insured and safety helmets are provided.

  • Life Adventure Park offers Mini Golf, Go-Karts, Arcade Amusements and Zone3. Lots of fun for every one.

  • Airports Skydiving Academy, learn to fly

  • Bendigo Ballooning, Hot air balloon flights over Bendigo & district morning and afternoon

  • Bushwalking Trails which circle through urban parks, forest areas and other scenic parts of the area.
