BALLARAT

Introduction
Ballarat is the gateway to
much of the best Victoria has to offer, including the picturesque
Goldfields and Pyrenees regions, and the Great Southern Touring Route
comprising Ballarat, the Grampians and the Great Ocean Road.
The region was home to one of the world’s greatest quests for gold in
the 1850’s, and Ballarat became Australia’s largest inland city.
Ballarat is rich in history and culture, represented at the world renowned

It still boasts the wide tree-lined streets, spectacular gardens and the
grand architectural allure of the Victorian era. Situated 110km north west
