Visit
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the world's largest collection of
Australian native animals. The Sanctuary is an oasis, located in the
centre of Australia's popular holiday destination, the Gold Coast. With
over 27 hectares of landscaped surrounds and bushland catering for over
1400 mammals, birds and reptiles, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary offers a
unique natural experience. Take in the sights of Australia by visiting the
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see native animals face to face
in natural surroundings. The Sanctuary is also recognised worldwide as a
quality research and conservation facility.

Underwater World opens many doors to the worlds of wonder beyond our own.
Water is the natural element - sharks, whales, crocodiles and stingrays
the natural rulers. These mystifying, primeval creatures preside over an
enormous range of fascinating underwater inhabitants: the brilliantly
colourful coral and quicksilver fish of warm tropical waters; moray eels,
lungfish and giant barramundi; tumbling turtles and friendly frollicking
seals.

Warner Bros Movie
World,
the silver screen universe at Warner Bros Movie World, located at Oxenford,
reveals the secrets of special effects and has under roof some of the
reel's most colourful characters such as the Looney Tunes figures and the
Police Academy misfits. Join the Studio Tour for a behind-the- scenes
glimpse of Lethal Weapon or Memphis Belie while photo opportunities are
plentiful in Main Street where reel characters mingle with the real.

Fleay's Wildlife Park near Burleigh West, at Fleay's Wildlife Park delve
into the darkness of a new Nocturnal House and meet some wonderfully shy
creatures of the night. The mysteries of native bush food and medicine
sources are revealed at Fleay's but centre stage at this wetland reserve
belongs to Australian birdlife and fauna.

Lamington National Park on the Gold Coast Hinterlands just 30 minutes drive
from Surfers Paradise, enjoy 160km (100 miles) of walking tracks leading
through the park beside crystal clear streams, to cascades and waterfalls,
through wind eroded caves in volcanic ash, cliffs. fern filled gullies and
mountain lookouts with spectacular views. Take a day trip from the coast
or stay in a mountain resort or lodge.
