GOLD COAST
The Gold
Coast is a one hour's drive south of Brisbane, a 70 kilometre stretch of
Pacific Ocean coastline with wide, clean beaches of golden sand that
stretch from Stradbroke Island to Coolangatta, and across the border into
northern New South Wales.
The Gold Coast is famous for it's world class theme parks and attractions. Visitors can cuddle koala bears, hand-feed kangaroos and wild lorikeets, be exhilarated by the variety of fun rides or "terrorised" by colonial shoot-outs. Sports facilities in this area are numerous, from playing golf, to participating in a huge choice of watersports. By night, the standard of dining and entertainment is exceptional. |
