LINYANTI

INTRODUCTION
The Linyanti Region
lies in the Chobe National Park on its western border. It is most popular in the
dry season when the concentration of game is vast and diverse. Herds of Buffalo
of up to 3000 at a time and prides of lions of 20 are a common sight. The
Linyanti River feeds the floodplains in this part of Botswana and also the large
variety of birds as well as the curious traveller's need for adventure and the
fisherman's dream of "the one that got away".
